Tonight’s Saturday Night Live opened with a spoof of Thursday night’s vice-presidential debate between Vice President Joe Biden and GOP challenger Paul Ryan, sparring no one and hitting everything from the question selection to both candidates’ debate attitudes.

Jason Sudeikis‘ Biden laughed, interrupted, and tough-talked his way through the debate; whileTaran Killam‘s Ryan incessantly gulped water, gave boyish smiles, and offered no specifics.

Debate moderator Martha Raddatz, played byKate McKinnon got tough with the candidates, threateningly lecturing them that she is not Jim Lehrer.

Raddatz’s infamous — and by many accounts bizarre — abortion question also received some mockery, with McKinnon prefacing the question by mentioning that the Major League Baseball playoffs are in full swing.
